SIMPOE team attended SolidWorks World 2012 in San Diego. The team spent 3 days meeting with potential customers and resellers showing them the capabilities of SimpoeWorks.

It was evident that everyone who stopped by the booth got a glimpse of how easy the software is to use.

Software industry veteran Jeff EATON to lead SIMPOE US operations

Torcy, France, January 16, 2012: SIMPOE announces today the appointment of Jeff EATON as VP Sales Americas.

Jeff brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the technical software business development .

Before joining SIMPOE , Jeff worked for the Spaceclaim company, where he was responsible for their indirect channel sales business. Prior to Spaceclaim, Jeff joined PTC in the early days of the company,   and for over 20 years was key in developing the PTC worldwide channel network , which contributed  to one third of the company global revenue.

Pre-Sales Trainee

Main duties :
-perform simulation analysis on plastic  parts for validation of SIMPOE technology by customers.
-software demonstration and training.

  

Position initially based at SIMPOE headquarters in Paris suburbs, with a strong international dimension. The position can evolve into full time employment as Pre-Sales Application Engineer for the right committed candidate.

Desired skills & Experience
Engineering degree. Mechanical, Plastics or Fluid Dynamics a plus.
Ability to take initiative and work under pressure, in an international context. Self achiever.
Fluent in French and English. A third language will be a plus.
Technical knowledge and good relationship with customers.
Mastering of basic computer tools ( pack office)
Knowledge of CAD and simulation software.

SIMPOE is looking to hire a Territory Technical Manager for its US office

At SIMPOE, we are looking for people who can work independently, are always looking for excellence and are over-achievers.

Territory Technical  Manager – USA

Duties:
-Responsible for all pre-sales and post-sales activities in the Territory:
• Demonstrations, benchmarks and training for resellers and end users.
• Update and develop training tools and knowledge database, in coordination with the other technical departments;
• Liaise with R&D  and support departments to report technical issues from the field.
-Manage and develop the technical expertise of  the network of Value Added Resellers in North America.
-Feed back market information to Corporate Product Marketing.

Profile:
-University technical degree.
-At least two years experience in technical software pre-sales activities. Knowledge of simulation software and of the plastic industry is a definitive plus.
-Knowledge of at least one of the main CAD software ( SolidWorks, PTC Creo or SIEMENS Solid Edge)
-Self achiever, ability to work in an independent environment, good relationship with customers.
-Willingness to travel

Job location: East Coast
Attractive package: base + commission.
